Age-related financial security is made possible in part by programmes like the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) and the Social Security Organization (SOCSO).

Members of Voluntary Contribution with Retirement Incentive (i-Saraan) can make voluntary payments toward their retirement, and at the same time get additional contributions from the government, for those who are self-employed. Welfare Assistance
This assistance is given to senior citizens aged 60 years and above and meet specific eligibility criteria.

This assistance is given to senior citizens to continue the survival and well-being of life in the community where BWE will provide RM500 per month per person.
